Clue electronic dictionary is primarily aimed at the business community. However, it is also important for private users to be able to access the dictionary, which is why we developed Clue Private.

 

Clue Private is a single-user licence with the language of your choice. You can also purchase additional languages if needed. All of the dictionaries to and from English and Norwegian include an English, Norwegian (bokmål), Norwegian (nynorsk) and Swedish dictionary at no extra cost.

 

Clue Private cannot be upgraded to a newer version, as this function is only available for our corporate customers. If you wish to always have the latest version of Clue, we recommend either Clue Business, Clue Financial/Legal, Clue Technical or Clue Maxi in order to have everything in one place.

 

Clue Private

• Provides definitions both ways– if you select English ↔ Norwegian, you will get both the Norwegian–English and English–Norwegian dictionary.
• Saves time – several words are defined in the same entry. Clue searches while you write, and often finds the answer before you have finished writing the word.
• Covers general business language and some specialist terminology.
• Is always up-to-date and relevant – Clue is developed on an ongoing basis together with industry and the business community in order to ensure that it reflects the language used within various fields.
• Is quality assured by our network of editors, experts and technical translators.
• Includes grammar and explanations – parts of speech, inflected forms, explanations and example sentences are provided.

 

The supplementary monolingual dictionaries are of course also included when you buy a Clue dictionary.
